How do I order?

You can order online on our website or email us at hello@freefromfood.co.za to order from us directly and ensure that your menu is personalised to your requirements.

How do I pay?

When ordering online you can pay via credit card or EFT the amount into our bank account.

If you order directly with us on email, you can pay via Zapper or EFT into our account.  We will furnish you with our bank account details via email.

Are all the meals frozen?

Most of our meals are frozen for sealed-in freshness.  This ensures that their vitamins and minerals are retained preserving the nutrients.  If you would like fresh options, please contact us to discuss what your requirements are.

When will I get my delivery?

Delivery days:

• North Coast up to Ballito on Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 17:00
• Upper Highway and Berea on Monday to Friday 12:00 to 17:00
• Johannesburg and Pretoria Tuesday to Friday

We will confirm delivery day with you prior to delivering.  We will try to accommodate any special delivery requests, however that may not always be possible. 

Where do you deliver to?

 We currently deliver to Durban and surrounding areas

The cost of delivery is:

• Durban R95
• Outlying areas in KZN R120
• Johannesburg and Pretoria R150

Please contact us before placing the order to confirm that delivery to your area can take place.

What do I do when I get my meals?

Put all your meals into the freezer.  Remove 1 to 2 days of meals from freezer to either the fridge or at room temperature to allow for them to thaw.  Meals can be heated in the microwave or in the oven. We will specify the heating instructions.

Some of the free-from treats can be eaten straight from frozen or moved to the fridge.  

How do I customise my Package menu? 

Add a note at checkout about any food allergies or food preferences that you have.  We will send you an email with the suggested meals on the menu before delivery to ensure that we can tailor to your requirements and that you are satisfied with the selection.

How do I know that there aren’t any allergens in my food?

All our food is free-from gluten, dairy and egg.  Once you have specified any further food allergies, we will ensure that the meals selected to do not contain any of those allergens.

How long will the meals last?

Once you have received the order, the meals will last for about 2 months in your freezer.  We will always include a best before date on the packaging.

Is the packaging sustainable?

Our packaging and labels are all recyclable.  They are food grade and safe to use in the microwave, oven and freezer.
